Rebecca Nunez

As a minority woman who has overcome countless obstacles in her professional and personal life, Rebecca is a role model and muse to everyone who has the pleasure of working with and for her. Even before starting MRN, Rebecca stood out in executive meetings–both due to her background and talents–and was not satisfied with the level of her voice being heard. She faced the challenge of overcoming adversity and found salvation through her own leadership. Rebecca is a first-generation Mexican-American who grew up in a hard-working family with no pedigree or privilege. Polaroids of her parents proudly holding their US Citizen certificate inspired her to give her all in everything she does. This dedication runs deep, and is the bedrock of her many achievements: helping blue-chip companies with strategy and execution during her years in marketing and PR agencies; creativity in experiential activations that break through the noise in competitive environments; communications excellence in executive comms, speech writing, and talent pitching. These foundational experiences prepared her to boldly open her own agency where she could fully exercise her expertise and break the mold of how a client is serviced. Today she has cultivated a group of professionals from all walks of life, offering every team member a seat at the table and every voice being heard. Rebecca has successfully beaten the 92% fail rate for female founders of color within one year–without any outside funding–and continues to grow, with triple digit expansion and numerous accolades. Despite her young age and The MRN Agency’s recent founding, the ripples of change Rebecca is making are already palpable–and they are only going to grow.
